Team Members
The humans and agents that make up a functional team.
Teams in Fide are composed of diverse members working toward a common goal. A member can be a human, a Fide-hosted agent, or an external system.
Member Types
1. Humans
Real people with Fide accounts. Humans provide the high-level strategy, oversight, and creative input for the team.
2. Fide Agents
AI agents hosted directly on Fide's infrastructure. They are autonomous co-workers that use the Context Engine to record their actions and reasoning.
3. External Agents
Agents hosted outside Fide that connect via the A2A Protocol. They respect the team's trust boundaries while bringing their own specialized tools or infrastructure.
The Org Chart Pattern
While Fide doesn't require a traditional org chart, the Team Hierarchy naturally creates one. By assigning humans and agents to specific teams and sub-teams, you define the reporting structure and the "chain of command" for autonomous work.
