Create

Create derives a Fide ID deterministically from its required parts.

Any implementation that creates a Fide ID MUST:

• validate the Entity Type, Reference Type, and Reference Identifier against this specification
• derive the Reference Fingerprint from the Reference Identifier
• assemble the final DID string

Read

Read resolves a valid Fide ID into the DID Document defined by this method.

Operations Not Supported by This Method

• Update: Fide IDs are derived, not mutable registry entries.
• Deactivate: Fide ID does not define mutable method state.
